When others are inconsiderate or downright abusive, they have affected us. We may have a bruise body or bruised heart. They are responsible for what they did not us; we are responsible for how we then manage the consequences of this. There are ways to get your point across without hurting someones feelings. First of all, put yourself in their shoes for a minute. Second, ask yourself how you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes. Third, say what needs to be said in a normal tone of voice, no screaming, no name calling. Too many do not think outside the box nor are accountable for action, word and deed. Sadly many do not apologize, for some ‘sorry’ is not in there vocabulary. For those that do say sorry, what’s the point if there is no change, empty words with no meaning. Change is important, What we do is always a ripple effect. Whether in anger or love.
