Everyone deserves the truth. The lies hurt ten times more and prevent growth.
Sometimes it’s better to be silent. To speak a truth just for the sole purpose of being right, maybe the wrong reason to speak it and the truth as you see it may not necessarily be that person’s truth as they see it. Nor would they be receptive to it through the haze of hurt engendered by this truth. There may be unavoidable situations where things must be said, but truly, there are times when it’s better to be happy than to be right. ~ Carla Dabney
